From Tuesday 7th July to Sunday 12th July 2026, the fraternity in Kalkara organised a six-day pilgrimage to Assisi for our altar boys and girls, together with their parents, catechists, leaders and volunteers.
In total, 50 pilgrims took part in this pilgrimage, which combined prayer, formation, fellowship and recreation. Throughout the pilgrimage, we visited some of the most important places connected with the life of St Francis and St Clare, including he Basilica of St Clare, the Basilica of St Francis, Rivotorto, San Damiano, La Verna and the Porziuncola.
his allowed us to deepen our understanding of the Franciscan charism and to reflect on the life lived by St Francis and his followers.
