CAPteens Live-in San Gwann

From 16th to 18th July, CAPteens San Ġwann came together for a memorable live-in experience in Gozo that offered much more than fun and adventure.

It was an opportunity for young people to build meaningful friendships, step outside their comfort zones, and grow together as a community. Throughout the three days, participants enjoyed a wide range of activities, including a murder mystery, kayaking, swimming, water games, emotional reflection sessions, spiritual moments, and the beautiful Gozo sunsets.

One of the greatest highlights was seeing young people disconnect from their devices and reconnect with one another through laughter, teamwork, conversation, and shared experiences. The atmosphere fostered a genuine sense of belonging, where everyone felt welcomed, valued, and encouraged to be themselves.
The live-in was also a significant milestone for our young leaders, who planned and facilitated much of the programme with creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm. Their commitment was instrumental in making the experience both enjoyable and meaningful.
Above all, these three days reminded us that when young people are provided with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment, they flourish. We returned home with wonderful memories, stronger friendships, and renewed enthusiasm for the journey ahead. This was only the beginning, and we look forward to creating many more experiences together as the CAPteens San Ġwann community.
